Delicious Living Co-op

Mission Delicious Living Co-op exists to nourish the Cape Cod community by increasing access to seasonal, nutrientdense food while strengthening relationships between local farms, producers, and neighbors. Rooted in cooperation, education, and care for land and people, the Co-op supports resilient local food systems, fair purchasing power, and meaningful community participation.

Primary Pick-Up Location: Truro, Massachusetts (with potential to expand seasonally)

Cooperative Membership Annual Membership Fee $55 per household, per year Supports coordination, administration, and fair wages for operations

Volunteer Option Members may work off the membership fee by completing 8 volunteer hours annually (when volunteer support is needed) Seasonal volunteer opportunities include: Share distribution & set-up Packing shares

Community outreach Seasonal Participation Members are encouraged (but not required) to volunteer 2 hours per season to strengthen shared ownership and reduce operating costs Core Weekly Shares (June–Mid October)

Vegetable Shares

Small Vegetable Share - $18.50/week - 4–6 seasonal items - Ideal for individuals or couples

Large Vegetable Share - $29/week - 7–9 seasonal items - Ideal for families or avid home cooks - 1 Items vary weekly and may include greens, roots, squash, brassicas, herbs, and seasonal specialties depending on farm availability.

Additional & Optional Shares Fruit Share (Seasonal) $15–$25/week (price varies by season) Locally grown fruits such as berries, apples, pears, and stone fruit when available

Egg Share Weekly or bi-weekly local farm eggs Pricing varies by farm partner

Mushroom Share $25/month Fresh, locally cultivated mushrooms

Cheese Share $20/month Rotating selection of Cape & regional artisanal cheeses

Coffee Club $15–$25/month Locally roasted coffee from regional roasters

Flower Share (Seasonal) Weekly or bi-weekly bouquets from local flower farms

Meat & Poultry Share (Optional / Limited) Chicken and select meats from trusted local farms

Offered as monthly or seasonal add-ons Herbal CSA (Year-Round or Seasonal)

Special & Seasonal Shares Thanksgiving Share from the Wellfleet Farmers Market (November) $80 one-time share Includes ingredients for holiday meals: Squash, apples, cranberries, Brussels sprouts Bread, cheese, and seasonal farm goods

Bulk Order Share (Fall & Winter) Order larger quantities for preservation or juicing Examples: 30 lb carrots 10–20 lb potatoes Herb bundles December

Storage Share Storage crops such as squash, onions, potatoes, apples Indoor pick-up when weather allows Mid-Winter Share (February) One-time winter pick-up Includes: Storage crops Greenhouse-grown produce (microgreens, tomatoes) Wintered apples

Community Access & Equity Delicious Living Co-op intends to establish or partner with a nonprofit arm to: Support SNAP/EBT and Healthy Incentive Program (HIP) participation Offer donated or subsidized shares Increase food access for Cape Cod residents in need Education & Community Connection Seasonal cooking demos Herbal education workshops

It grows organically, responds to community needs, and celebrates food as nourishment, culture, and connection.

Nicole Cormier MS, RD, ldn

“I am passionate about helping people...improving whole health ... mental and physical ...educating ... I believe in the power connecting farmers and consumers.”

Nicole Cormier is a clinical herbalist, registered dietitian, local food enthusiast, author, and intuitive eating nutrition therapist. She indulges her passion for nutrition and local foods on beautiful Cape Cod through the Herbal Community Clinic and Dietetic Internship. Her collaborations with local chefs, non-profits, schools, farmers’ markets, restaurants, and art centers include programs, dinners, workshops, and catering. She founded the Scrubby Pines Supper Club in 2021.

She graduated from the University of Massachusetts and the Beth Israel Deaconess Dietetic Internship in 2006 and has completed a Masters in Clinical Herbalism from the Maryland University of Integrative Health Notre Dame.
